Yamaha's offering MT 03 Launching in India

Yamaha MT 03 was first showcased with Yamaha MT 10 in Milan prior to its official launch in the European market. The gala event was a success and these bikes were able to earn quite a reputation for themselves for the way they work, their mechanisms and obviously because of MotoGP rider, Valentino Rossi who created quite the craze for it after he rode the bike at the EICMA.

The 2018 model of MT 03 will be released in India in the month of November, just before Diwali. The launch is said to happen at the Auto Expo 2018. The festive season has been carefully chosen to launch the bike as it is always seen that the demand is quite high during this time of the year, all around the country.

Basically, Yamaha MT 03 is the naked version of Yamaha YZF R3, which was recently launched in India, only a few weeks back although, the styling and the design of the bike is a lot similar to its predecessor, Yamaha MT 25, which was launched just a year back. The design of this bike is similar to that of most street bikes which are available in the market-  a bulky gas tank, a thin and small tail lamp and an exposed frame, which makes all these bikes to be quite popular amongst people. Other than the designs, there have been not many changes made in this new model. The seat height has been adjusted to a height of 780mm provide the rider with a much better experience at riding. The clip-on bars have been replaced by a single piece wide handlebar which will enable the rider to have a comfortable riding stance while riding. The bike is also said to have a single headlight as well.

The bike has the same parallel twin motor engine as that of the Yamaha YZF R3 which provides a peak power of 43PS and 29.5Nm of peak torque and the powerplant is mated with a 6-speed transmission which makes it be a beast of a bike. The bike is powered by a 321cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine which produces about 41.4 BHP at 10,750 rpm. The braking system is controlled by disc brakes at both ends but in the Indian version of the MT 03, 2 channel ABS is not available. The bike, as said earlier, is a beast with cast aluminium wheels with 120/70 front wheels and 140/70 rear wheels and only weighs around 165kg, making it to be one of the lightest bikes in town. The bike has a ground clearance of about 160mm. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is 14 litres.

The bike is making quite the headlines with its news of being launched in the Indian market. The Yamaha MT 03 is one of the hottest bikes which are available in our country with its design and power. The price of the bike is quoted around Rs. 3, 20,000 (ex-showroom) which is quite reasonable with what Yamaha MT 03 has to offer us. We hope that Yamaha MT 03 performs well when it is launched in the market and perform the way it is said to and expected to perform. Till then, be safe and keep riding!
