KTM's offering Adventure 1050 Launching in India

KTM had first introduced the KTM Adventure 1050 at the EICNA motorcycle show in Milan, late in 2014 and now it is being launched in the Indian market around December of 2018. People are quite excited about the launch of this bike since it is the first litre-class bike from KTM which is being introduced in the India market. In short, this bike is beast and people are just going crazy for it to be launched in the market.

The KTM Adventure is said to be a modern version of its predecessor, the KTM ADV with added features and a few changes here and there, which include the Ride Mode Technology, ABS and traction control. All of these can be manually controlled by the rider and can be shut off (both the ABS and traction control options) if the rider wants to. The level of electronic intervention can also be shut off or controlled by the rider according to his own convenience.

The KTM 1050 Adventure is an entry level bike which has features which you will not find in any other bike that easily- the ride by wire throttle, a slippery clutch and the three ride modes (Street, Sport and Rain). The best part about the KTM 1050 Adventure is that the handlebars, windscreen and the foot pegs are all adjustable in any way the rider wants it to be. It is said that the KTM 1050 Adventure bikes have a trellis frame which is made from chrome-moly steel and powder coated orange which makes it lightweight but heavy duty thus, making it faster by reducing its weight when compared to other bikes of this category. The bike is also said to have top quality suspension hardware with dual plug ignition and Keihin engine management just like the other models by KTM such as the 1190 R Adventure and 1290 Super Adventure. The bike is beautifully designed with a sharp headlamp along with two rear view mirrors which are attached over the clip-on handlebar. The rear portion of the bike consists of a body coloured rail followed by a designed tail lamp section. The bikes are said to have Metzeler tubeless tires which cover the exterior of the elegantly crafted alloyed wheels.

Now, coming to the detailed information about the bike- the bike is said to have a fuel capacity of about 23 litres. The bike has a 2 cylinder, 4 stroke spark ignition engine which is liquid cooled. 1050 Adventure is said to have front disc brakes of diameter 320mm and rear brakes of diameter 267mm. The front suspension of the bike is WP upside down 43 mm and the rear suspensions are WP monoshock which enables the rider to have a comfortable ride even on the worst of roads. The ground clearance of the bike is about 220 mm and the weight of the bike is around 212kg and thus, enabling the rider to make swift and easy turns on the road. The only feature of this bike which is fully electronic is the contactless and controlled ignition system with digital ignition timing adjustment.

The bike is surely have created some news since it is the first bike introduced by KTM in the Indian market which is litre-class and for this reason, the price of the bike is quoted at a price which is a bit more expensive than most bikes which are available in the market. The price of the bike is quoted around Rs. 9,00,000 (ex-showroom). The bike will be launched in December of 2018 and we hope that it performs well on the road as well as in the market.
