This bike consists of front disc brake which is 280mm in size and a rear disc brake which is 240mm is size thus, giving you complete control over your bike. The front suspensions are telescopic with 41mm forks and 130mm travel. The rear suspension has a twin gas charged shock absorbers with 5 step adjustments, making even the bumpiest of roads or surfaces quite comfortable to ride on. The chassis type of the bike is a single downtube which uses the engine as stressed member. The ground clearance of the bike is 140 mm making it really comfortable and controllable to ride on.
Coming to the engine and the transmission of the bike- it has a single cylinder with an air cooled cooling system and Keihin electronic fuel injector. The bike consists of a manual gearbox with 5 gears. The bike has a transmission type of Chain Drive and consists of 2 valves per cylinder. All this enables the bike to give a maximum power and torque of 27.2 bph @5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm @4,000 rpm respectively. The bike can reach to a speed of 60 kmph from 0 in just 4.65 seconds and gives a fuel efficiency range of about 600 km with a tank capacity of 20 litres and a reserve fuel capacity of 3.5 litres.
The bike is truly a Thunderbird which can face the most difficult of extreme weather and terrain. The standard ex-showroom price of the bike is Rs. 190,672 which makes it a bit more expensive than most bikes available in the market but if you compare the features of this bike with its competitors, you will find out that this bike is worth every paisa you have or planning to spend on it.
